Faith Empowerment Center, affectionately known to many as “THE CENTER”, is a life-giving church, marked by the presence of Jesus, activating us to impact others.

Our Vision 

Jesus is the head of our church! His Word is the standard for how we live as individuals and He unites us culturally as family in love to do ministry.

We tithe because we believe our giving makes provision for the upkeep of the household of faith.

The Bible says in Matthew 6:24 that the top competitor for our commitment to Jesus is money. Giving allows us to demonstrate that He is more important to us than material things.

There is no organization with more potential to change the world than the local household of faith can as a united church family!

We promote the tithe— It means “tenth”—defined as the first 10% of a person’s income before taxes or anything else comes out. The Bible says we can take the promises of God to the bank. When we bring our first and best to God, He promises to bless the rest. We can’t outgive God. Tithing is a huge step of obedience!

We believe our offering goes far beyond the reach of the household of faith.

We give generously as an act of worship, not human manipulation. Finances is a survival tool necessary in every environment for advancement and we want to see God’s house advance.

We give offering separately from our tithes because we believe that we are all stewards of what God has entrusted to us, who are called to invest extravagantly in the work of the Kingdom-feeding the poor, sowing without bias, helping the widows and orphans, serving the needy, the homeless reaching and building relationships with Jesus and people.

FEC Supports Global Missions

At “FEC” we take the call to “go to the nations” seriously, however we are strategic in our approach once we get there. We believe that every community should direct it’s own development. Every community has different needs and in most cases, local residents have a much better understanding of these than those on the outside. To ensure that our ministries are relevant and will have a long term impact, we pursue programs and projects based on local community leaders’ request and a direct extended invitation.

Our Mission:

Our mission represents being “THE CENTER” where your faith is empowered. Our assignment is to do as stated in John 3:16. Love the world as Jesus did and whosoever will let them come without judgement. We believe that we as individuals are physically (the church) that have accepted the offer Jesus provides with Divine redemption according to Ephesians 1:22 -23/Ephesians 2:22/Hebrews 12:23

What is Expected at FEC

We look forward to individuals joining us on Sunday and Tuesdays for our weekly services! During that time, we join as a community for a time of worship, refreshing, restoration, faith empowerment a time of learning.

Music
Worship is a participatory experience. We invite you to join in as we praise and worship God through provoking the presence of God by worshipping and singing .

Prayer
Our prayer prior to the start of our services allows us to acknowledge our dependence on Jesus for building His Kingdom and in our personal lives. We pray for the needs of the physical house of God and our church family holistically.

Message
The teaching and preaching time seeks to communicate Jesus truth in compelling, relevant ways. Each service, we pray that God blesses the preaching of the word that it might penetrate our hearts and impact our lives.

Youth Ministry
We are a youth driven church! Our youth are known as “THE YOUTH OF THE CENTER”. We teach Jesus to young people of all cultures, backgrounds and creeds. We provide a safe place for them to come together, hang out, have fun and grow closer to God and one another.

Fellowship
Following the service, we spend time building relationships, getting to know each other through conversation.
